
Make-Up Classes
Students are expected to make up missed classes and should coordinate with the respective faculty. Unsatisfactory attendance is grounds for dismissal.
Class Schedule and Holidays
In the event a class must be cancelled, it will be rescheduled at the discretion of the Director. TMTI observes all legal holidays.
Student Conduct
Students of TMTI are expected to honor and adhere to the principles of the School Pledge and NCBMT Standards of Practice at all times. The following serious offenses constitute grounds for dismissal without refund of tuition.
Conviction for a felony or misdemeanor offense.
Attending class under the influence of any illegal substance or alcohol.
Sexual harassment of fellow students or faculty.
Abuse of school grounds and /or property.
Repeated violation of the Code of Conduct.
Warnings and Dismissal
Students will be given one written warning of conduct violation. After written warning, student may be dismissed for any future violation. Certain grave or chronic offenses constitute grounds for dismissal. Additionally, the Director may determine the behavior or actions of any student inappropriate and dismiss that student without warning. A student dismissed at the Directors discretion is entitled to refund of unused tuition in accordance with stated policy. Any student dismissed from the program for conduct violation is ineligible for readmittance.
