Thank you for your interest in our program. In this catalog we are pleased to present an updated curriculum in our Professional Certification Program. For two decades the Therapeutic Massage Training Institute has offered professional training with a personal touch. The updated, 600 hour curriculum reflects our continuing commitment to excellence and changes in national standards.
We emphasize an innovative and balanced approach to bodywork, presenting the technical as well as qualitative elements of professional touch. Our goal is to facilitate the learning process so each student becomes a fully prepared, competent, and caring massage therapist.
The new curriculum offers the same wide range of hands-on modalities with increased hours in Deep Tissue and Pathology for the massage therapist. An introduction to Integrated Manipulative Techniques rounds out the student’s base of knowledge for today’s increased interest in Eastern modalities. Classroom presentation is strengthened with Practical Application in clinical and public settings.
